Catherine's Note: From the time we purchased Carol's items, she has since passed away. While we did not have the chance to meet Carol, it was clear from her home she had a life well lived--full of learning (especially about food and nutrition!), of travels with her family, and variety of hobbies (what a vintage winter ski suit she had!).

From her daughter Heidi regarding her items:

"I think the best thing for people to know is that my mom liked fine things— linens, dishes, silver glassware, beautiful paintings, china, copper pots, to name a few.

She thought it was very important to care for your things and to USE them. Don’t wait for someday. Take out those fine tea cups and table cloths and use them today."
